A written demand may be sent to the company at the same time a Labor Standards Complaint Form for overdue earnings is filed with the Division. The Labor Standards Complaint Form can be found on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website.
Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is received and examined, a letter explaining the nature of the problem and the quantities declared to be owed is sent out to the company. To learn more about the examination process, please review the Wage & Hour Claim Investigations – Employer FAQs website.
Investigations Launched by the Division (” Direct Investigations”): The Division may conduct employer-wide direct investigations of potential violations of Colorado wage and hour law. If you would like to submit a suggestion, referall.us please email the Division at [email protected]. If you wish to submit a specific claim for unpaid incomes, you should fill out a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements webpage.
